They just announced that there was like 100 1895 Morgan dollars made and they were made in aluminum composition. Well I just happened to have one. I just thought it was a fake coin. Luckily I’ve held onto it throughout the years because the coin just sold for $300,000 this week, I’ve done every aluminum test possible. The coin is aluminum and it’s in great shape. This is an error coin because of the composition but it’s worth a whole lot of money. I just don’t know a lot about the grading process and live in a very small town, so I don’t even know how to begin with all that, but yeah, I’m still a coin collector.
