Rare signed 1920s Mandalian Mfg. Co. enameled metal mesh evening purse the Rolls-Royce of flapper bags! Delicate all-over scenic enamel pattern in silvery-gold tones on flexible chainmail mesh, finished with long matching beaded fringe that sways beautifully. Gorgeous engraved gilt frame with kiss-lock closure and original chain handle. Clearly marked MANDALIAN MFG CO inside the frame. Interior silk lining shows light age spots (as expected for 100+ years) but no rips or odor. Mesh is fully intact, no breaks, some mesh strings hanging are broken as seen on pictures. enamel has natural patina/wear that gives it authentic vintage charm.
