African Antique bead necklace.

Antique African necklace with European beads. The three center beads date approximately to the late 1700s through the 1800s. The blue are cylinder shape and the center is barrel shape.. These beads are referred to as Dutch Dogon, as they were traded to the Dogon people of Mali by the Dutch traders, however, their exact origin is unknown. The three focal points glass beads could be Bohemia or German. The reddish brown interlocking Snake Beads, appear to be Vintage Czech Molded Glass.
The beads are strung on leather/ sinew. The necklace incorporates a variety of brass beads.
The end caps and added magnetic clasp are modern.

The strand is about 20”.

old beads, mostly in antique condition, are expected to have age-appropriate wear such as discoloration, chips, dents, scratches, etc. Please examine the photos carefully.
