Sweet little sterling silver maple leaf brooch by Forstner. Simple etched detail, nice solid feel, and that slightly soft look old silver gets with age. The back is stamped FORSTNER STO., an early mark used before WWII, so this one dates to around the 1920s–1930s. Forstner were known for making well-made silver pieces, and this is a good example of their earlier work. Fastens with an old-style pin and sits really nicely on a coat, scarf or jumper. Measures 4 x 3.2 cm. Great condition.
