Beautiful antique convex (bubble) glass oval framed portrait of a young girl, likely from the early 1900s.
She is dressed in an ornate lace-trimmed dress, wearing a crown-like headpiece, and holding a large bouquet of flowers. Original patina wood frame with decorative beading. Glass is intact with gentle age-related wear. Also some water marks inside, on back of art and a white paint mark on the outside as shown in the close-up photos. A striking example of turn-of-the-century portrait photography, perfect for collectors of antique photographs or Victorian/Edwardian décor.
This measures 19” tall x 16” wide x 1” deep.
