This is a Collector Edition Russian Barbie Doll from the Dolls of the World Collection (Mattel 16500, released 1996).
The doll is New in Box (NIB) and has never been removed. She wears a vibrant, traditional Russian-inspired costume: a red and gold sarafan-style dress over a white blouse, complete with a beautiful headdress (kokoshnik).
Box Condition: The box is sealed but shows minor to moderate shelf wear, including creasing/scuffing on edges and a price sticker on the plastic window.
This is a wonderful piece for collectors of cultural dolls!
