This bag is in used condition. When I brought it home I put it in warm water with dawn dish soap- when I took it out the interior looked to be shedding something- I can only assume its a beeswax or wax of sort that was previously applied. This bag also has a hole as pictured. Its near the seam of a pocket. Overall thought this historical bag still has many more moons left to it.
