Siam made (Thailand) vintage nielloware sterling silver brooch. The brooch features a beautifully hand carved elephant. I've seen pieces with a male figure sitting atop the elephant, this one is a bit less common. The carvings are one of a kind of handmade. Marked as sterling and tested positive as such. I've hand polished it and it's in excellent condition.
