The Normandy pattern was produced in England between 1890-1920, making these dishes over 100 years old. The pattern used a "flow" technique featuring blue transfer decoration in a floral and geometric border design: the cobalt blue pigment was diffused during firing creating the flowing effect. The "flow" china was popular in the Victorian era in Britain and the US as they were an affordable alternative to imported Chinese porcelain.
Price includes 2 bowls, 1 dinner plate. 2nd plate is free.
Measurements: Plate 9" in diameter. Bowls 5" in diameter, 1" deep.
Condition: 2 Sauce/Dessert Bowls are in Excellent Condition. The face of the bowls are perfect. There is some discoloration on the undersides. Plate: the face of the plate has minor wear of the gold but is in otherwise Excellent Condition - the underside does have a large chip (see photo). I am including a 2nd plate which has staining and wear for no charge.
