With it's soul oozing acappela intro followed with a drum and tambourine break Woman You Made Me is a perfect started for the album. That's not to say, it won't work exusitely in single format in your next DJ set, jukebox or smoky listening sesh.Carlton's chops in testifying and performance really get to shine in these uptemp grooved cooked up by Timmion house band Cold Diamond and mINK. Impassionate horn riffs accompany Carlton's re-entry and it's hard to believe there'll be a still body left on the dance floor when he reaches the first verse. The track dosen't stop morphing, but goes through dellicate twists and turns wooing the listener with each measure. Flip the disc around and rock the instrumental for that early Kool and The Gang or TSU Tornadoes spirit. Which ever you spin, spin it loud and proud!
