Royal Doulton "Carpet Seller" Vintage Home/Office Collectible Porcelain Statue

This is an exquisite piece from Royal Doulton “Carpet Seller" (Hand Closed) vintage statue figurine. It was first introduced in 1960 and retired in 1969. Item number is HN1464A. It's an incredible piece designed by Leslie Harradine. This piece was made with amazing colors of green, black, yellow and red. The seller has on a red traditional middle eastern hat and has curly black hair. His cloth are traditional garments with a long black with yellow shawl and mint green long gown. He has on red pointed shoes. The carpet seller seems to be trying to sell his gorgeous colorful carpets. He has his right arm extended and one carpet is laying on it and another beautiful carpet is on his left shoulder. The carpets are multi-colors. The features of the piece are astonishing. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. It measures 9" tall and around 5" wide. The underside is marked with the Royal Doulton printed back stamp of the period and lot. Original price is $250.00.
