THE UNION / THE BLUEST OVERALLS "TT DENIM PANTS"

These are based on the 1950s XX model, which is said to be the most perfected post-war model. THE UNION's original details, "Welcome Pocket" and "T-horn," are incorporated with their own interpretation. The sewing methods and fine details are reproduced by disassembling the original and using vintage sewing machines, replicating almost everything. While adhering to the details of the time, the design is tailored to fit modern Japanese people. The silhouette adopts the 1950s XX type while maintaining a less loose fit. The fabric is selvedge denim made with Zimbabwe cotton yarn, which is close to the yarn of the original fabric. Of course, it is woven on a shuttle loom.

All the threads used for sewing are cotton threads, allowing you to enjoy the color fading of the threads over time. By using vintage sewing machines with a half-rotating shuttle, which is a weakness of the thread, the appropriate looseness of the thread tension prevents thread breakage. The stitch work features unique sewing (back pockets and waistband) using a machine without a reverse stitch function.
