I suspect this basket was used more as a lunch box on the golf course. It has a leather band around the top and a red gingham "picnic blanket" liner on the interior. It is 10" long and the basket portion (without the handle) is 6.5" deep. It is 6" wide. It is signed "Caro-Nan" on the top and the underside of the lid is written "The Saville Shop” by Caro-Nan.
