Vivitar 3800n 35mm film SLR camera body. The Vivitar 3800n is a very capable late model film SLR. It was clearly aimed at people who didn't want a complicated electronic camera or media students studying photography. It was available in the UK from 2002 - 2012 at the time digital cameras will becoming the norm. So unlike many cameras you see advertised it isn't very old. Fully mechanical camera which only uses batteries for the light meter. ( 2 xLR44 cells ). The camera has a good spec which includes a fast 1/2000 shutter speed, depth of field preview button and the ability to do multiple exposure on on frame. It has a socket for off camera flash. Camera is in really nice condition and a pleasure to use. Couple of small usage marks from using a tripod etc. Mechanical self timer stopped working years ago but isn't something I have ever needed to use. It does occasionally work so can't be to much wrong with it as sometimes comes back to life. Light seals excellent. Light meter and shutter working perfect. Battery holder complete and working great. 2 brand new batteries just fitted and the camera comes with a black shoulder / neck strap & dust cap. Camera takes Pentax K mount lenses so there are a massive selection available 2nd hand. ***No lens included*** Camera will be well packed. .
