Vintage Asian Carved Wood Sculpture. Macabre Old Man subject is seen starving and emaciated, malnourished and frail. VERY fine hand carved details and made, amazingly, from a single piece of dense, hard wood. Upper and lower teeth are seashell inlay. No repairs. There are a few fine, natural splits from normal aging. Very unusual, one of a kind sculpture with just a subtle unsettling vibe due to the old man's haggard, bone thin appearance. 11" tall.
