We have two of his pieces from our large collection of vintage art. Each are sold SEPARATELY. Both pieces shown in photos.
Purchased at FUNDAMENTALS INTERIOR DESIGNERS Troy, MI February 7, 1977. A copy of the original receipt will be included with purchase.
Exquisitely framed. Wood and silver with a small separation. Double matted. The image is 7 1/2" x 4 3/4". This is the original frame. It does have a few small, minor scratches.
Frank Rakoncay was a Chicago artist who moved to St. Augustine, Florida. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and was nominated as one of the best new artists at the Chicago Art Awards. While living in Chicago he had work accepted into the prestigious Chicago & Vicinity Shows at the Art Institute, as well as being represented by several Chicago galleries in one-man and group shows.
