This gemmy white amethyst / quartz sphere has a druzy exterior, with sugar druzy and translucent calcite inside. The calcite has a thin coating of hematite on parts of it. This sphere also features a portal from the front to the back/side -- the portal itself is small, but the druzy openings on either side are gorgeous! The druzy exterior and the calcite have rainbows! Next to the opening, you can see where there's some calcite showing on the exterior -- there is a small piece missing from the narrow cleavage plane. There is natural rock on the bottom side of the crystal that is a bit flat -- this allows the sphere to self-display.
**Please note, this is repaired -- in the last few pictures, you can see the line where the repair has been made. The price has been discounted for this.
